Citizens Advice Bucks is a registered charity that believes everyone deserves access to free advice to help them deal with life’s problems and challenges.

Volunteers are at the heart of Citizens Advice in Buckinghamshire, and with a dedicated team of over 100 highly skilled and trained volunteer advisers working across High Wycombe, Aylesbury Vale, and the Chilterns they provide vital, free advice to local people in need.  The dedication of volunteers makes a real difference for many who are facing challenges with issues such as hunger, homelessness, overwhelming debt, welfare issues, and discrimination.

The average initial cost to recruit and train a new volunteer is £3,000, and I’m taking part in LLHM 2024 to raise funds to recruit more volunteers who will go on to provide advice and support to others like Sharon who are struggling.  Every donation I receive will go towards funding the recruitment and training of 10 new volunteers who will go on to provide essential advice to 2,000 more people in need across Buckinghamshire every year.

Every donation, no matter how small, counts. It has the power to help thousands of the most vulnerable people in Buckinghamshire!
