In 2019 Platform Cricket worked with 88 schools and almost 5,000 children in inner London. Through the provision of new "pop up" clubs we brought 275 children into community participation, 37% of whom were from deprived backgrounds and 75% of whom were from BAME backgrounds. Our activities were found to have a significant impact on social cohesion and physical/mental health in our focus communities. We are now seeking support to expand the project to new neighbourhoods so that 100s more young Londoners and their communities may benefit.
