Story

NICU is an Intensive care unit for babies born "too small, too soon or too sick" Baby Frankie was all 3 and without NICU he simply would not be here!

It is a wonderful facility and we are lucky it’s on our door step here in Luton. They offer the highest level of neonatal intensive care possible and are one of only three high-level neonatal units in the East of England.

Frankie’s treatment cost over £21,000 and he was only in for 18 days, some babies’ needs months of treatment. We aim to raise as much of that as we can to pay them back and help other sick babies.

Each year we put a team together “Frankie Says Relax,” to raise money by running in an event for the NICU appeal. This year with have some new recruits and have upped the ante. We are taking part in the Love Luton half marathon! We have never run anywhere near this far before. We aim to raise £1000 this year and anything you can give would go a long way to help.

There is no gift more precious than Life and NICU simply gives babies a chance to have one!
