The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm doing this to help raise funds and awareness for children and adults that are on the autistic spectrum.

Originally, I had been planning on taking part in RideLondon 2017. Sadly due to developing basal thumb arthritis in my left hand and losing my job, my plans have had to change drastically.

Thankfully I am now back in work after 3 months unemployed but my thumb is still an issue - I can only manage to ride my MTB and not my roadie as gear changing and braking on it is very difficult and sometimes painful.

I have my eyes on KLCC's very first sportive, the Royal Flyer and possibly the August "Tour de Broads". If I get really brave, I may even attempt the Suffolk Spinner again and do a longer route. Hopefully my thumb will be more stable by the time these all take place.
