We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to visit my page!

In September my colleagues from ITLab, Content & Code and I have pledged to walk a 30 mile section of Hadrian's Wall in one day in order to raise money for our chosen charities. I have chosen to raise money for Mind - The Mental Health Charity.

Why? Because each and every one of us through our lifetime will suffer some form of mental health issue. This can range from feeling pressures from daily life to severe cases of depression; Mind is there to provide help and support to all of us to especially to those people who might not be able to find help elsewhere - something everyone deserves and which a charity like Mind provides.

Please review the information below (a summary on what Mind does) and consider giving a donation to help support Mind.

What We do

We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a
mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

We are Mind

Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. We believe no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’ll listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.

we do. We empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them through:

- Our award-winning publications and website, now certified by the Information Standard.

Local Minds

Our local Minds provide help and support directly to those who need it most. There's a network of around 130 local Minds across
England and Wales that offer specialised support and care based on the needs of the communities they support.
