Event: Sponsored Hair Cut
We are working in West Dorset to support cancer sufferers locally

Story

When my mother told me she would need chemotherapy and would lose her hair, I decided to lose my hair in support.  I have chosen to have mine cut rather than shaved so that I can donate the cut hair for wig making.  To me, it seems a waste not to do anything with the cut hair especially as I am raising money for a cancer trust where chemotherapy, hair loss and wigs are part and parcel.

All donated monies will go to the Fortuneswell Cancer Trust which is where my mum is having her treatment.

I will be sending my hair to The Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children.  I will be losing 16 inches of hair length.

My family and I would be very grateful if you would sponsor me and help us raise as much money as possible for this good cause.

“The Cut” will take place on Saturday 24 August, 2013 at The Axminster Inn, 8.30pm.  Please come down and show your support, the band Tres Geezers will be playing afterwards from 9.30 to midnight.  Hope to see you there.
