Whilst I grew up on the other side of the world, Scotland is home, and I truly believe business is the vehicle that will allow us to create a stronger community, economy & future for Scotland.

If we aren't directly affected, then the vital work of Fife Gingerbread in supporting hundreds of children and families in Fife is likely to be invisible - yet there were times when I was growing up that support like this would have made a world of difference.

The reality is that children around us are missing school, missing meals, even missing essential clothing - yet these children are our future!
They could be our neighbours, our employee's families, our future employees or even our customers.

I'm taking on the toughest (voluntary) physical and mental challenge of my life so far to raise awareness of the vital support FG provide in the community around us, and every single donation - large or small - every *single* penny raised, will help people in Fife to break the cycle of poverty, neglect and abuse, and turn their lives around - then empower them to help others do the same.

I signed up to do a 50 mile hike (the Cupar Round Table's Bridge to Bridge walk on 22nd June), and am determined to complete the whole thing!
