I did it!!! I am delighted to report that I did indeed swim for 5 hours completing 562 lengths (11km/7miles).

On Friday 1st June I am taking part in City Dip 2018 at Golden Lane Sport & Fitness swimming pool to raise money for the new multi-year Lord Mayor’s Appeal, titled ‘A Better City for All’. The Appeal is supporting three inspirational charities - Place2Be, OnSide Youth Zones and Samaritans - to deliver ground-breaking programmes and find solutions to some of London’s most pressing societal issues.
I have challenged myself to swim for 5 hours from 2pm – 7pm. Despite
being a regular swimmer for many years, I have never attempted swimming for as long as this before.
Any donations, however small, will be received with immense gratitude.
