On May 26th, 2021, my mum sadly lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, mum rang the chemotherapy bell and got the all clear. In 2018, mum was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in her hips and lungs, which unfortunately spread to her brain at the beginning of 2021. Mum fought long and hard and always with a smile on her face. 

I am going to be running the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April 2023 and fundraising for Breast Cancer Now in hope that they can continue to help families in similar situations, just like they supported us from mums first diagnosis.
