That’s why they are here to help with a lifetime’s practical and emotional support. And we do this regardless of when our blind veterans served and how they lost their sight. We help Blind Veterans to recover their independence and discover a life beyond sight loss.
For almost a century, Blind Veteran’s UK (formerly St Dunstan’s) has been giving invaluable physical and emotional support to blind and visually-impaired ex-Service people. We are there when men and women who have served their country lose their sight. We help them overcome the challenges they face to discover life beyond blindness.
Today, demand for our services is greater than ever as we help over 5,000 beneficiaries including those injured in the conflict in Afghanistan.
We’re there for our members for as long as they need us. We help them adjust to their loss of sight and learn new skills. And our support lasts a lifetime. We help families too, as they adjust to their changing needs.
