We are working for people and wildlife to bring about a wilder future, together

Story

Hi, I'm Sam, im walking 1,200 miles from the top point of Britain (John o'Groats) to the bottom (Lands end) to raise money for Both SSAFA and The Wildlife trusts. I'll be starting my journey on July 12th and expecting it to take anywhere between 2 and 3 months.

If you want to follow my journey find me on Instagram @samrculley

SSAFA - I am raising money for SSAFA because I have a lot of family members and friends who are currently serving or have done, I'd like to give something back for all of the hard work and effort our armed forces put in! They risk their lives for ours on a daily basis and deserve the best help they can get if ever needed.

THE WILDLIFE TRUSTS - I am raising money for the Wildlife Trusts as they do incredible work across the UK in helping protect and restore the environments for us all to enjoy, as the great outdoors is something I am incredibly passionate about I'd love to know it will still be as wonderful in years to come with the work the Wildlife trusts do.

MY PART - along the journey I intend to pick as much litter as reasonably possible to do my part for the environment.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. Last year our teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 85,000 people in need, from Second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families.

We need nature and it needs us. The Wildlife Trusts and our supporters are here to make the world wilder and make nature part of life, for everyone. We’re helping to make life better – for wildlife, for people and for future generations.#30by30The Wildlife Trusts are calling for at least 30% of our land and sea to be connected and protected for nature’s recovery by 2030. Making more space for nature to become abundant once again will give our struggling wildlife the chance to recover and also restore beautiful wild places.
