When we run the 'British 10k - Westminster' in July this year as part of Team Becky, it will be 14 years since we lost our much loved and forever missed daughter Becky to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy). There were then and still are 21 deaths every week in the UK due to epilepsy which is greater than AIDS and cot death combined. Yet with awareness, 42% of these deaths could be avoided. We continue to do all we can to help the wonderful charity SUDEP Action reduce this tragic loss of young lives.
