The last two weeks of Sandra's life was spent in the wonderful care of Trinity Hospice. They helped her with so many things. They took her bed out in the sunshine so she could see the blue sky, washed her with her Channel soap and marveled at her beautiful paintings. The five paintings Sandra had in her room with her were photographed by the Trinity Hospice, they loved them so much they asked her if they could make greeting cards out of them to sell in their shop. Of course she was delighted and that will go ahead in her memory.

The hospice didn't only help Sandra, they helped all her family and friends around her, they made it very easy for us to stay with her so she was never on her own, day or night! It would be nice to raise money to replace the three vases we broke as she her room was filled with flowers!

Trinity hospice only receives 35% of their funding from the NHS so they have to raise 5-Million every single year to keep the place running, the hospice looked like it was almost designed for Sandra, it made her last weeks peaceful in a space she could appreciate.
