On 22nd February this year, my beautiful niece, Lianne, had her life turned upside down when she was given the news she had stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 33. 

Since 22/02/22, Lianne has been going through gruelling treatment and although still ongoing she is now cancer free. Lianne and her husband and her 2 young children are now finally feeling like they are getting life back.

Breast cancer can affect any of us at any age. I was 47 when I was told I had breast cancer.  

On 2nd October I will be running my first marathon, the Chester Marathon and hoping to fundraise for the breast cancer charity Prevent Breast Cancer. 

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so I will keep this page running throughout October and a little longer.
