We start our walk at the Cairngorm Ski Centre carpark and walk up the path to the Ptarmigan Centre at Cairngorm.  Here we begin our descent into Coire na Ciste and 30km walk onto Grantown on Spey.

It will be a challenge for me but feel that this is minor in comparison to the everyday challenges our RAF veterans and their dependants face on a daily basis.  From childcare and relationship difficulties to injury and disability, financial hardship and debt to illness and bereavement, the benevolent fund help any member of the RAF in a broad range of issues.
