We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

Saagar is 20 years of age. He is a handsome young man with great potential. He loves to laugh and make everyone laugh. He likes to cook for his friends. His food is quite spicy but he likes it that way. He is an accomplished linguist, cricketer, percussionist and actor. Most of all, he has time for everyone. He listens. He is kind and sensitive.

He is my son.

Last summer he was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. His illness was confusing and painful for us but most of all for him. He did everything he could to handle it but in the end he lost.  He ended his life on the 16th of October 2014.

We used to go for long walks together. I shall be walking this route with him. I hope together we will be able to do everything we can to halt this silent epidemic of suicide.
