Sara runs one more time

Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2022 · 28 May 2022 to 29 May 2022 ·
Hello!
Thanks for stopping by.
I have decided to run one more time (to be read out loud in the Daft-Punk-song-voice) because I just can't get enough (you know this one too!) of achy legs. Also, more importantly, because I want to raise money for displaced refugees and asylum seekers across Europe.
ForRefugees are doing truly important grassroot work which I know goes directly to the refugees and asylum seekers in most need. Having spent time in Calais myself, I have witnessed the awful conditions that people are living in while also seeing the ongoing inspiring work done by brilliant charities and incredible individuals. I have chosen to fundraise to ForRefugees knowing that they will distribute the money raised to those grassroot partners who are tirelessly trying to alleviate some of the pain experienced by refugees. Having volunteered in Calais has opened my eyes to the horrific reality that refugees and asylum seekers are faced with every day. The grassroot charities such as RCK and Project Play have given me hope and inspired me to do more. (More information below.)
Please consider donating, even as little as £2.00 to the ForRefugees and support them today!
Thanks,
Sara
