I've worked at LCFS for more than 10 years. During that time, I've had the opportunity to hear firsthand from many foster children and their families about the impact LCFS had on their lives. I feel strongly about the work being done at LCFS, and I hope you will feel inspired to Let Your Light Shine on the children and families we serve!

The pandemic put significant pressure on families, especially those who may have already been struggling. That's led to alarming growth in the number of children entering the foster care system. This challenging work is made even more difficult by issues such as the shortage of foster families to care for these children.
