We provide independent advice and campaign to prevent deaths at the hands of the state
Story
On 7 October I will be running the Budapest marathon in memory of Hannah Evans, a beautiful and talented young woman, who sadly passed away aged 22 in January 2015.
I met Hannah when we worked together at PwC. Her intelligence and caring nature shone through and made her a fantastic person to work with. She also became a great friend. Sadly Hannah suffered from mental health issues which tragically led to the premature end of such a promising young life.
I am therefore raising money for the charity Inquest, who supported Hannah's family through this very diffiult time. Inquest work directly with bereaved people, empowering them through the post-death processes of investigation and inquest to establish the truth about a death in the care of the state. Further details of Hannah's inquest can be seenhere.
Thank you very much for any kind donations to Inquest which has been chosen by Hannah's family as their preferred charity.
INQUEST is the only charity combining free specialist support for bereaved people following a state related death, with the influence to achieve change in legislation, policy and practice. We are independent of government and entirely reliant on grants and donations to continue our vital work.
