10 years on from losing my mum, not even a year since Lizzy my good friend lost her uncle (Paul Spacey) and recently Nat's mum beat it! Me and three friends thought we would do our part and challenge ourselves to the yorkshire three peaks, dedicating it to our loved ones.

There are more than 360,000 new cancer cases in the UK every year, that's nearly 990 every day. Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. It is heart breaking to know nearly every single person can say they know of or close to someone who is affected by this cruelty. 

We have chosen Macmillan cancer support to be our chosen charity as being told ‘you have cancer’ can affect so much more than just health – it impacts family, jobs and everyday life. Macmillan raise awareness and provide emotional and financial support to those in need. In times like these support and compassion is crucial and they were a real support in time of need. 

Let's hope the northern weather is in our favour and we're excited to do this for such a great cause.
