Hi there. you're here because you read an article I wrote on CALM's website about my experience of being bereaved by suicide, and the impact it had on my life and those around me. To highlight the problem of male suicide, and the suffering of all those left behind too, I'll be running the London Marathon as part of the Heads Together team raising funds for CALM.

About CALM

CALM exists to provide support to anyone struggling with life's issues, whatever they may be. CALM provide helplines, a webchat service and also campaign to increase public and political awareness of the growing suicide problem. 

A donation of £7 helps CALM to answer one call to the helpline that has the potential to save a life. And each year CALM estimates it saves 250 lives with an average of 5000 calls per month.

We all have challenges and problems thrown at us in life, and 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health issue at some point. Myself included. Please help me help men, who are 3 times more likely to take their own life, who may be struggling, and prevent more families and loved ones from experiencing the trauma of suicide.
