According to my little brother, everyone needs a challenge in life. So, now that I'm 7 and a half stone lighter than I was 6 months ago, I'm planning to try to walk a marathon next weekend. This is clearly an insane idea but I'm hoping that, along the way, I might be able to raise some money for Home-Start International Tanzania. 

Home-Start International is a grass roots organisation, working worldwide to support families with young children. Support is provided through training volunteers to work with families. According to UNICEF, 12 million children have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. Less than 10 per cent of these children are currently receiving public support and services. Home-Start supports Aids-affected families in Tanzania.
