My Nanna was my hero, role model and my best friend!! Unfortunately she suffered with this horrible disease and passed away in January 2010. I'm taking part in this walk in memory of her and also to raise as much money as possible to help other Alzheimer sufferers and hopefully to help find a cure or treatment. I have lots of stories about the things she used to do like putting toilet paper in the tea pot & ringing you up then hang up on you, but to me that was normal that was my Nanna!! It wasn't always funny things she got up to sometimes she forgotten who I was or even who she was but I will always know how much she loved me just by her smile when I walked in the room. I love her so much and miss her more & more each day. If I ever had one wish it would be to wipe this horrible disease as know one should suffer the ups, downs, highs, lows,pain, sadness and upset it cause for both the sufferer and their families. I love you Nanna xxxxx
