I entered the Cheshire Cycletta at Tatton Park as I wanted a challenge of my first road bike sportive and wanted to see how I do, and as Macmillan were one of the chosen charities, I thought why not get sponsored at the same time.

This was the furthest I had ever ridden my road bike and I was hoping for a completion time of around two and a half hours. Well I amazed myself and managed to get a time of 2.04 hours and came 33rd out of 270 women, which I was extremely chuffed with for my first sportive and considering I hadn't done much training. So hopefully this will now be the start of many!
