When it was suggested that by offering to present at the Scottish Contaminated Land Forum (SCLF) series of early career webinars I could nominate a charity for donations it felt fitting to select Erskine Hospital. They provide nursing, residential, respite and dementia care in four homes throughout Scotland (one of which is very local to me) for UK veterans and their families. 

The current COVID pandemic means that these charities are even more in need of our support and adding to that having just celebrated the 75 year VE Day celebrations in lockdown I felt even more determined to help Erskine Hospital in some way.
