Having seen first hand how amazing the staff and team at St Oswalds are, my family and I are very keen to raise awareness and give back where we can.

Mum was only at the hospice for a few days, but they really helped her in her last few days, caring for her and also looking after us. Sadly her decline was very sudden but the staff - even down to the chef, came in, spoke to her about what they could do to help her. 

They are exceptional people who, like may charities really suffered following Covid. Whilst we as a family do donate to the charity, I wanted to get myself moving in support. I have supported them in other events, but I was really keen to take on a challenge following the previous two years, and sadly it was not being run this year, due to other events. This is why I am aiming to reach a goal of 350km in 3 months (July to September) and really appreciate anything you can spare.
