I'm having a mid life crisis so I signed up to the 2015 Nightrider to cycle further than any old woman should. What's more I persuaded two easily influenced women to come with me, Tabitha Marriage and Rachel Humphreys, who should know better.

It's also to say thanks to all the great people I have met and worked with at Coeliac UK.  As CEO of the Charity I know we ask a lot of our supporters and it was about time I literally got on my bike to say thanks.  And finally I'm doing it for my dad, Donald Sleet, who has just passed away in Spain.  As a true Eastender I thought what better way to say goodbye than cycling round the city he loved starting in the Lee Valley velodrome just a couple of streets away from where my entire family, including me, were born in the old East London hospital.
