This year when my bestie told me it was 10 years since her mum died of cancer I really could not believe it ....  Am I really that old?!?!  Well the answer is yes!!  However it's 13 years since I lost my own wonderful father to cancer too and I can't believe how time has flown. 

Both myself and Bec lost a parent within a relatively quick timeframe and their loss was such a shock to us and something we find difficult to deal with even now.   They are never far from our thoughts, they are the voices in our heads. We have been there for each other over the years which is why we both want to celebrate now the life of two wonderful human beings. 

So please give as much as you can and also raise a glass of Prosecco to Mrs Jennifer Gloyn and a pint of the best for Michael Sidney Francis Spooner, for the unconditional love and wonderful memories that they gave to myself and Bec.
