Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am taking part in the Royal British Legion Major Series event to raise some money for this local charity set  up by the family and friends of Oscar Hughes, a 9 year old boy who died from a brain tumour. The charity is dedicated to supporting new treatments and ultimately a cure for paediatric brain tumours and as a mum of 3 girls how could I not want to help in whatever small way possible. There are over 100 people taking part in the Oscar Team for this event and wading through rivers and crawling through mud seems novel way to spend a Sunday morning - bit of a change to slobbing in my pj's watching Sunday Brunch anyway! I have not set my total very high as so many of our friends and family have already been so generous in sponsoring John's amazing running achievements last year for the charity but any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thank you x
