Hi Everyone,

We have had numerous people ask about wedding gifts over the past few months. My answer is always the same: we don't need anything. But that's a bit selfish. If you want to give us a small gift then we would be most grateful; HOWEVER a bigger gift would be to donate something here, however small for an amazing organisation that Sarah has supported for a long time.

In short Chain of Hope is a British charity that provides children's life-saving surgery in war-town and developing countries. But they do much more by training and teaching, and setting up Cardiac Centres in countries that lack the expertise such as Egypt, Mozambique, El Salvador and Gambia and Zimbabwe where there are no cardiac surgical services for children at all - and many more.

We have set a very ambitious goal of £5,000 simply because it is the cost of one life-saving surgery for one child. 

Give what you can but please don't feel you have to.

More importantly, it is your presence, rather than any gift or donation, that we are looking forward to the most on June 27.
