Challenge New Zealand 2020 · 1 March 2020
In the first week of March, we are hiking 100km in the Queenstown area as part of Challenge New Zealand 2020 to support the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. .
Laureus Sport for Good is a charity that passionately believes that sport unites us all and is helping to address the many social challenges facing children and young people around the world. There is a growing body of evidence to show the benefit that regular physical exercise has on both physical and mental health. These developments are crucial to reducing stigma and building resilience in the face of difficulties. All funds raised on Challenge New Zealand 2020 will go towards programmes in the Laureus Sport for Good network that work towards improving young people’s mental health and well-being.
We're sure you agree that mental wellbeing is so important for overall wellness and if young people get the right support it can set them up for a healthier and happier life.
We thought this was a great opportunity to support a charity that is making a real difference in the lives of young people and get some fresh air doing it.
So don't be shy ... dig deep! Thanks so much for your donation and support.
