I have decided to walk (part of) the Great Wall of China for the Chestnut Tree Hospice.  Chestnut Tree House is the only children's hospice in Sussex and cares for over 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions from East and West Sussex, Brighton & Hove City, Portsmouth City and South East Hampshire.  It relies around £3 million every year in caritable donations to offer the care they provide.

This isn't me off for a "jolly", though I am setting myself a very big goal, as the enormity of this challenge has begun to hit me!  One point of the walk is 2km of continuous steps!  I am contributing myself for the travel etc.  The more money that can be raised benefits the charity!  I will be trekking for 5 days over very rough terrain, steps, hills and probably suffering from vertigo!

So please dig deep.

Thank you
