I am taking on the challenge of the Manchester Marathon 2021 with 5 amazing ladies as a personal challenge and to raise valuable funds for this wonderful cause. We have chosen this charity as one of our team, Lindsey was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2017 and underwent months of gruelling and debilitating treatment in order to battle this awful disease. Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer and it is committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether. Prevent Breast Cancer focuses on preventing, rather than curing with a focus on the promotion of early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes.

Running has been brilliant for both my physical and mental health and has helped me to strengthen old and make new friendships.
