Story
Did you know 2.4 million people watched BBC's An Island Parish set in Sark. If one in every four people donated even £1 to the Sark Sanctuary Building Fund we would be able to realise our vision of £500,000 and make a miracle happen for the people of Sark.
The Sanctuary Centre would:
- meet multi-use community and ecumenical needs
- provide emergency help to vulnerable people
- support and provide for carers and older people
- provide a dedicated safe space for children and young people
- provide interactive exhibition space for residents and visitors
- support local businesses through the retreat programme
- offer support to migrant workers
- provide a confidential space for meetings addressing community needs e.g. an AA group
- provide a base for the visits of the Guernsey Health visitor, clinics and parent/toddler groups.
Sark Sanctuary Centre - serving the community for the benefit of all in the community.
