Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Did you know over a thousand people go hungry in Luton everyday? Did you know 1 in 52 people don’t have a roof over their head? Did you know 1 in 5 households can not afford a full school uniform?

Alhamdulillah for the last 7 years Discover Islam Luton has been at the forefront of tackling social issues as such and many more, often a time pioneering the start of various projects including the Luton Curry Kitchen (for the homeless), Luton Foodbank and Level Trust:Uniform Exchange. As well as this the team provide a full time dedicated information centre to educate and challenge misconceptions of Islam.

However they are unable to carry out the fantastic work they do without the support of the local community, as a project supported entirely by public donations.

Hence the reason why I have decided to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon this October, to raise awareness and funds for this invaluable local service.
