A combination of having a new baby and mistaking the event date for being in August rather than May means I'm terribly unprepared for this triathlon.

I've spent the last few days agonising over whether or not to participate but ultimately a great charity will lose out on sponsorship if I pull out. Given that the only real reason not to compete is to avoid a few hours of discomfort/agony (nothing compared to what many brave leukeamia sufferers go through), I've decided to line up on 30th May.

Please give generously, it's a good cause.
