Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.. In 2021, I was diagnosed with a rare type of inflammatory arthritis. Since then my life has changed in many ways and at times, doing the London Marathon was something I never thought I would be able to do. Thanks to medication such as methotrexate, a chemotherapy agent and immune-system suppressant, I mostly live with mild symptoms/pain. Running the London marathon has always been something I have wanted to do, and I could not think of running it for anyone better than for Versus Arthritis who not only support millions of people, but also invests in research and breakthrough treatments for those suffering.
Any donations are appreciated to help try and overcome the pain, isolation and fatigue of arthritis.
Thank you for your support. Wish me luck... 🫣
