Marie Liston is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
Fighting cancer is the biggest battle many of us will face. In celebration of three of our HR Team at ScS Group plc. beating cancer, we wanted to stand together as a team, and confront our own challenge to raise money for those wonderful people at MacMillan Cancer Support.
In just 5 days, we intend to walk a whopping 84 miles. But, not just any old 84 miles (why would we?), we're taking on the entire length of Hadrian's Wall, from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend. It's happening over the Easter weekend, a time of year known for it's barmy (rather than balmy) weather.
Our 'fearless' Leader Marie Liston (lunatic), has committed to the full stretch, therefore applying by default a huge amount of peer pressure on the rest of the team. We've therefore signed up, as she should never walk alone (and to keep the boss happy), to join her on the endeavour, tag teaming as we go to cover an average of 17 miles a day.
