Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
My daughter Tilly was only five days old when she was taken into hospital and our lives have not been the same since. Having being diagnosed with a rare but serious metabolic condition called Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD) my wife and myself lives were touched by that experience in hospital and every visit to the hospital since then, we both vowed that as long as we were both relatively fit and healthy we swore that we would do as much as we could to help the Children's Hospital Charity.
We understand how frightening it can be for parents when their children are unwell and first taken into hospital, the feelings and thoughts that myself and Ashleigh went through on those first couple of days in hospital will never leave us, that is why we intend to do as much as we possibly can for the charity to promote and hopefully raise funds to aid them in continuing the great work that they do to keep assisting families and children all over Glasgow.
We are both setting ourselves the challenging and grueling task of conquering the highest peak in the Alps next September and aiming to raise at least £7000 for the charity along the way.
