Story

I will be hiking 60km through Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro for Plastic Oceans UK, and to bring attention and tourism to the gorgeous Accursed Mountains.

This will be the toughest hike I've ever done, with steep inclines and tough terrain, we have our work cut out for us... We're already in the gym training for the momumental task ahead of us. If you're a friend of mine, I'm sure you'd like to see me suffer in some way, so feel free to donate...

If you're an acquaintance, your contributions will all be given to the charity, we will be funding our own trip and covering all associated costs. So please donate and help me raise £500 to go toward cleaner oceans, which we all share.

A bit about the charity -

Plastic Oceans UK have been experts on plastic pollution for nearly a decade. This began with our award-winning documentary A Plastic Ocean, now available for streaming on Netflix. Each year an extra eight million tonnes of plastic enters the ocean. By supporting us, you're facilitating our education, science and sustainability programmes that will create a wave of change. Through changing attitudes, behaviours and practices on the use and value of plastics, we can stop plastic pollution reaching the ocean within a generation.

We tackle Ocean threats by turning Ocean Science into understandable, practical tools; engaging people through film and popular culture; and running engagement programmes for youth. As the first generation to deeply understand Ocean issues, we’re also the last generation who can stop them.
