I am taking part in Football for Cancer 2022 and raising money for an amazing local charity, Friends Fighting Cancer. This year I am proud to be part of Team Logie, playing in honour of John Logie.

1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime and the charity provides support to local families who are going through one of the toughest times of their lives. Friends Fighting Cancer provide much needed funds via the Grant Scheme, sometimes in less than 24 hours, directly to families to try and alleviate the financial burden that coping with this disease can cause.

So to do my bit and to help raise money, I will be running in my first ever marathon at the New Forest Marathon in September. Then just a few weeks later I will put myself through it all again at the UK Trail Festival Marathon in October.
