Thanks for taking the time to have a look at this.
Here's the bit about JustGiving: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
OK, that's the copy and pasted blurb. Here's the other stuff: my mom is ill, again. She had cancer a couple of years ago, and it's back. Whilst the consultants in France have been good, they are at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed. We are looking into alternative courses of treatment elsewhere in Europe.
I am not fundraising to contribute towards her treatment, but I thought that I should use my nervous energy to do something positive. Rather than cry at how unjust it all is, I am going to jump on my bike and go out for some runs and raise some money for CRUK.
On Sunday September 18 I'll be running, riding and running the London Duathlon. 10k run, 44k ride and another 5k run around Richmond park.
Being me, I have set the bar as low as possible: GBP 400 is the smallest amount the one can raise. I would love to smash that.
