Story
Once again the University of Portsmouth Rugby Club will be playing an invitational Old Boy team to help raise money for Midlands Air Ambulance in the name of Jack Segust.
The Jack Segust Memorial Cup is currently in its fifth year and we are looking for your help to continue its fundraising success. In August 2012, Jack Segust was airlifted to hospital following a tragic vehicle accident and later died of his injuries. Jack played for the University of Portsmouth RFC for 2 years and was heading in to the final year of his Civil Engineering degree. He was adored by all at the club as a player, member but, most of all, as a friend.
From the first ever grudge match between the University of Portsmouth RFC and the Solent Barbarians RFC back in 2011 a lot has changed. After being named 'The Jack Segust Memorial Cup' there have been over 3500 people attending raising thousands for a fantastic cause. Hopefully this will be the biggest and best year yet and we hope you all come down to join us at HMS Temeraire to celebrate Jacks life.
