This year the Seismic Hamsters (the name is a long story!) are competing in the Hoylake 24 hour challenge.

This is essentially a 24 hour endurance race between kite buggiers, landboarders and mini-yachts taking place on the sand bank at Hoylake towards the end of June.

Last time we took part we raised over a hundred pounds for the Red Squirrel Trust - this year we're still keen to help one of Britain's most enigmatic little mammals.
