Self Help works in eight African countries (Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Togo, Uganda and Zambia), tackling poverty and improving the lives of local communities.

To raise money we are cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats in 14 days via the scenic route. Initially it was going to be a Mother (Annemarie) and Daughter (Michele) challenge, but our nephew/cousin (Rudolf) then offered to fly over from South Africa to support us in our crazy adventure. The trio of South Africans plan to complete the 1100 miles challenge with time for some sight seeing on the way.  We will keep everyone up dated as we as we travel up North.
