Thames Path Ultra Challenge 2022 · 10 September 2022 to 11 September 2022 ·

The Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for patients.

Story

I am taking on the Thames Path Challenge of 100km over two days in mid-September. Starting at Putney Bridge and heading upstream all the way to Henley along the famous Thames Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful historic scenery en-route to a riverside finish line.

I will be doing this to raise money for the Children's Air Ambulance and joining me on my adventure will be crew mascot Peggy! Pictured above with my very own Mr Grebo (who is far less helpful it must be said)
