Lockdown in March 2020 gave me a tiny taste of how lonely, hard and exhausting it can be being at home with small children. My situation was easy compared to many but it made me aware of how difficult daily life is for many families.  Home-Start is a truly wonderful charity that sends trained, dedicated volunteers into homes locally to provide one-to-one support to parents who are struggling.  The need is great with more referrals coming through all the time. Now as trustee of Home-Start South Warwickshire I see firsthand what the amazing staff do.

On Sunday 12 June 2022 I’m taking part in the Two Castles Run to raise money for HSSW.  I’ll be running 10km from Warwick Castle to Kenilworth Castle and apparently it’s uphill all the way! I’ve done a couple of 10k runs before but not one as big as Two Castles.
