From August 2013 to February 2014 I spent time volunteering at one of Thembalitsha's projects - The Village of Hope in Grabouw, South Africa. With 7 projects all over the Western Cape, Thembalitsha has and is changing the lives of thousands who are desperately in need. 

Chris and I have decided to cycle 100km to raise money for them and continue all their great work!! Neither of us have trained at all so it is going to be a challenge to say the least! :) 

The money we raise will go straight to ThembaCare Grabouw, a sister project of Village of Hope, which is on the front line of treating and caring for HIV/AIDs positive people in the town. During my 6 months I spent a morning with the ThembaCare nurses and saw first hand how hard they work and the incredible difference they are making.
