We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

I am shaving my hair off to raise money for cancer research during RAG week in February 2015 at school. Personally I'm doing this for my Dad, my Auntie Beverley, my Auntie Gilda, my Cousin Rob (R.I.P), Mrs.Hughes (R.I.P) and my Nonna (R.I.P) and Mr.Brumfitt (R.I.P). I hope you think of your own personal experiences while reading this and donate to this worthy cause, because together we will beat Cancer.

Cancer is a disease that attacks many and affects nearly everyone, through associations with lives that have been lost and those who have battled hard to live. The money raised through this event will be donated entirely to cancer charities; the money donated online to Cancer Research and some of that donated in person will go to the Woolverstone Wish fund for the chemotherapy unit at Ipswich Hospital. My hair will then be donated to the Little Princess Trust, a charity to provide real hair wigs for children suffering hair loss.

When you donate, they send your money directly to the charity, so it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this page, please don't forget to donate!
