Story

Shay is going to do 37 steps a day for a month with his walking frame which although it doesn't sound much is a huge challenge for him. Our local ambulances do 37 miles a day so hence the 37 steps 🚶‍♂️.

For those of you who don't know Shay he is 14 and has a learning disability & Adhd & a rare genetic disorder called sptbn1. He is a very cheeky young man who makes a lot of people smile 😃

The East of England Ambulance Service staff and volunteers really go the extra mile to keep us all safe during challenging times. Please support me to go the extra mile for them by taking on the 'Outrun an Ambulance' challenge.East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) provides emergency and urgent care, as well as patient transport services across 7,500 square miles and serving over 6.2million people in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
